Marysville’s Strawberry Festival isn’t your average city festival. Yes, it has carnival rides, craft vendors, and yummy food trucks, but it also has little events and activities that make the festival seem more like a small town gathering than an overcrowded, commercial festival.

The festival starts with people lining the streets to watch the kickoff parade. This parade is so popular that people mark their spots for prime curbside seats days in advance. Other favorite community events held during the festival include a fun run, community talent show, art exhibit featuring local artists, and live performances from local bands.
